Maintenance Forms in Multiple Languages

Omaha Refugee Task Force’s Housing Subcommittee created pictorial “Request for Maintenance” forms. These maintenance forms make reporting repairs and other issues easier for families who are new to America. New arrival families are often not yet completely familiar with Western style appliances and devices in a home. For example, a family may hear beeping from their smoke detector, but if they have never had a smoke detector in their home (due to living in a refugee camp, etc.) it can be difficult to describe the issue. Seeing pictures and having translations improves the maintenance request process for both tenants and their landlord.

Please feel free to download these translated request forms and to use them. There are no copyrights on this material. It is for public use. If you need a language that is not yet on this list, please email: pawbwayhtoo@rdomaha.org
